I've found having deadlines, whether in my writing, quilting projects, preparing for a Beauty Break, etc. spurs me on to getting things done. Then it's something I can't put off and I have to find the time somewhere to work at it, whether in the morning (my preferred work time) or late evening and even wee hours of the night. I am a morning person and do my best work then. However, I can't always find the time and will grab a moment whenever I find it. I often find myself writing at night after everyone is in bed. This surprises me because I normally "shut down" at 8:00. I guess writing and doing housework are two different things in my book. I prefer to write in the morning.
