B5Media’s Business Channel is Now “Bizzia” – More Help For Your Home Business
November 2, 2008 by Jean Murray
We here at the (formerly known as) Business Channel have been hearing about new possibilities and new exciting changes. Well, they are here. A few days ago, BIZZIA , the new b5media business portal was launched. I like it!
For some time, I have wanted to know more about all the great business blogs on b5media. Now, you and I have the opportunity to see the best of these blogs every day. For example, from the most recent BIZZIA home page, here are a couple of informative/helpful blog posts from other b5media bloggers:
From Contract-Worker, Tips on Finding Success as a Contributor in Lean Financial Times
From Just Make Money Online: Online Freelance Writing at Suite101.com
If you are not a writer, other business blogs have great information for you:
From Small Business Boomers: An innovative source for small business financing
From Daily Blender: Defining “Locally Grown” Foods
And, last but certainly not least, from My Organized Biz, “When Should You Set Aside Time to Plan?”(I need that one, too!)
The Bizzia portal will be changing daily, so you might want to put it on your RSS feed. I figure we all need as much information as possible, and the Bizzia portal can give it to us in a neat, quick, easy-to-read form. Let me know what you think.

Hi Mary,
Just wanted to say that I’ve started reading your blog. I’m wondering if you have heard about the book, “What Men Don’t Tell Women About Business”. I heard the guy (Chris Flett) on the Today Show and thought you probably have already heard of him. I’m wondering what your thoughts were. He seems to be really taking on the ‘Old Boys Club”. I just emailed him, but haven’t heard back.
Anyway, keep up the great writing.
Best,
Bihter.
Hi Mary,
I’ve been doing some additional research on the author, Chris Flett, that I talked about on my last comment. His company is “GhostCEO” (www.GhostCEO.com) and his book is a bestseller. I found it on Amazon here. Anyway, he was in the NY Times last Sunday under the “Career Couch” and he makes reference to women’s blogs like yours so I thought you might like to connect. I’d like to see you interview him and see what he’s all about. I saw on another blog he was a guest blogger. His email is: chris@ghostceo.com
Best wishes,
Bihter.
