Check List for Writing Correct Ad Copy

by Mary Emma Allen on August 5th, 2009

Making sure your ad copy and promotional materials are accurate is very important for your home business to ensure that your customers respect your credibility and business acumen.  In a previous post, I mentioned the importance of accuracy in home business advertising.

Alyson Stanfield carries this a step further at her Art Biz Blog by giving you a “how to” on writing correct copy. Double Check Your Publicity Text“Taking the time to double check your facts could save you from embarrassment, while saving your fans some frustrations,”  Alyson cautions.

Then she proceeds to give you valuable Who, What, When, Where, Why and How steps on making sure you’re accurate and include what you need.  Although Alyson deals primarily with promotional materials in the art world, the principles she discusses can be applied to most any home business.

Alyson Stanfield also is the author of the marketing book, I’d Rather Be in the Studio.
