Entering Your Home Business Post in a Showcase
October 9, 2007 by Mary Emma Allen
We’ve mentioned previously the technique of entering carnivals, theme days, and showcases on other blogs. This helps give you wider name recognition, promotes your business, and is fun.
If your business doesn’t involve a craft, do you have a craft for a hobby…quilting, knitting, woodworking, scrapbooking, photography, etc.? Check out the possibility of linking a post about your hobby to the Showcase at b5media’s Arts and Design Channel.
Generally the monthly Arts and Design Showcase features solely bloggers from that channel. This month, our host, Noreen from Hankering for Yarn, is opening it up to all craft bloggers.
The theme is Halloween or Day of the Dead crafts. For more details about entering your post in the Showcase, click here.
The showcase is scheduled for October 21. Noreen would like all links and a short blurb by a deadline of October 19.
See you there!

This sounds like fun, Mary Emma.
This is so true! I’m a big fan of blog carnivals…
Laura – Me too! I’ve discovered some great blogs through blog carnivals.
Yes,Laura and Yvonne, showcases or carnivals are a great way to meet other bloggers and to become known yourself. Besides, they’re fun. If anyone with a home business has a “crafty” connection, why not enter this Showcase hosted at Noreen’s blog?
