With a home business, you don’t have sick time or personal days for which you get paid.  You can’t call in sick and still receive payment.  So in order to keep your business going and income coming in you must plan ahead.

• Certain businesses, once you have them established will generate residuals, but you must work to reach that point.
• Online businesses may result in sales, once you’ve developed a following of customers.
• Try to be ahead with production and deadlines in case of illness and other emergencies.
• If writing online or producing products offline, don’t run up to the deadline unless necessary.
• Have someone available to help you in case of emergencies.
