How to Write Home Business Blog Headlines That Work

The first eye-catcher of your blog, other than perhaps a photo or illustration,  consists of your headline or title.  This is true of press releases, titles of stories, headlines in newspapers and ads.

How do you write a headline that captures attention?  What makes people stop and take notice?

Brian Clark at Copyblogger has an excellent post, Warning: Use These 5 Surefire Headline Formulas at Your Own Risk, that gives advice and suggestions about headlines that catch attention.  He also explains why these are good techniques.
