Is Your Home Business Safe on Your Cell Phone

Do you make private business calls on your cell phone or iphone?

Do you keep business information on it?  Do you make payments, access your bank accounts or store sensitive financial data?  Do you have family information on it?  Can your cell phone track your movements?  Are your text messages of a private nature?  What  photos do you take, store and transmit?

Ask yourself these questions because cell phones today are smarter than you realize and are utilized for more than making calls.  Much of this information can be accessed even if you think you’ve destroyed it.  It also can be accessed while still in use on your phone.

In a recent article in NewScientist, The pocket spy: Will your smartphone rat you out?, I learned that your cell phone, especially the newer ones that store even more information, aren’t as safe as you might think.  You’ll be amazed at what can be discovered about you and your business if you don’t take precautions.

So consider…how safe is your home business on your cell phone?
