More Tips on Photographing Your Home Biz Projects

July 19, 2007 by Mary Emma Allen

It seems once I began researching and writing about photographing your home business projects and products, I began seeing articles and blog posts on this topic cropping up frequently.   Some of these had tips for crafts people, some for photographers, and others for the general business owner or the amateur photo buff wanting to learn more. At Stitch Witch, lunarawe had a good post with photos, It’s All About Presentation.  Even though she talks about yarn and knitting and shows you how to take various photos involving this media, you can utilize the techniques in your home business projects.  (Some of you may have a home business involving knitting or one of the fiber crafts.) Some of your photography may involve pictures for brochures, your blog, a web site, contest entries, a project book, or submission for publishing.  Whatever you’re doing, it doesn’t hurt to have more knowledge about photography…unless you’re hiring someone. Even then, you will want to know what makes a good shot and what doesn’t.
