Party Planning Home Business
June 5, 2009 by Mary Emma Allen
I’ve been brainstorming with a friend on how she can set up her party planning business. She isn’t going to do so much “hands on” setting up for parties or entertaining guests (although this is an option) as she is helping her clients with ideas and resources. She’ll compile a list of resources on her blog (eventually maybe a web site) where they can find the items they need.
Helping them come up with themes for their parties is another aspect of her business. These can be detailed on her web site or blog. She can meet with clients, go over their needs, take them online to various resources, even order for them if they aren’t online or don’t have time.
She planned her daughter’s wedding and had so much fun doing it by coordinating the resources, finding the necessary items for wedding and reception that she thought all this research shouldn’t go to waste. It could help others as well.
Then why restrict her planning to weddings? Why not plan other parties and gatherings?
If you have a party planning business, I’d enjoy hearing about it and even could feature it at Home Biz Notes. Also, you may want to visit my Party Pizzazz blog. I thought I’d experiment, while helping my friend, and refresh my party resource blog as well.
