I especially like the focus on other skills. Many freelancers now have to be able to show "added value," and developing skills beyond typing only is a good way to do that. One of the blogs I write for requires that I be adept with PhotoShop, while another client I helped with editing/rewriting an eBook wanted me to be able to turn it into a PDF eBook and insert pictures, re-doing the layout.
