Tips for a Better Business Card for your Home Business

Even though some business owners mention they don’t use business cards or use them less than previously, especially if they operate an enterprise with an online presence, my husband and I still find business cards a necessity. Yesterday at our yard sale, there were several opportunities for Jim to hand out his business card.
As people chatted with him, they often asked what he did. That gave him an opportunity to mention his web based business. “What’s your web site?” let to his giving them a business card.

Are You Serving Customers or Consumers In Your Home Business?

Ron Elizondo, blogger at Brand Curve, brings up a good point in his post about Customers/Clients vs. Consumers and asks whether the business owner knows which one he’s marketing to, and thus developing advertising for.
His distinction between the two is to be considered when you’re deciding whom you’re serving. Ron defines a Client/Customer as “someone who pays for goods or services” and the Consumer as “a person who uses goods or services.”
You may want to learn more from Ron about whom you’re sending your message to and whether your advertising will be effective.
Pay Attention to the Small Details in Home Business
