Organizers of Pink For October want to raise awareness of breast cancer issues.
They hope “… web sites will Go Pink during the month of October to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research.”

Yes, men can get breast cancer too. While it is rare, it occurs most commonly in men between 60 and 70 years old. Regardless of gender, breast cancer affects men, women and families. This is an issue we can all relate to or have been touched by.
