Twittering Along With Twitter In Your Home Business

Since I wrote the post, Using Twitter To Boost Your Home Business, I’ve discovered Twitter is a very popular topic.  I’ve received inquiries asking if I’ve started using Twitter, what’s been my experience or that of others.  Co-blogger, Yvonne Russell, mentions she’s curious about Twitter, too.

So, I’ve been doing a bit more research.  I should register and then share with you my experiences.

In the meantime, you might like to check out these articles:

Share with us your experiences with Twitter….a help, a distraction, or just one more task in your day?  Have you found it helpful in your business?

Also, in relating to our Home Biz Notes theme for April…Productivity, have you found using Twitter has made your more productive in your business?

Thanks for the link, Mary Emma. One suggestion I would like to add, for people wanting to give Twitter a trial but not be overwhelmed, is to proceed slowly at first and don’t just “follow” everyone who “follows” you. Just as you wouldn’t go to a party or networking event and try to listen to and participate in *every* conversation.

  2. Thanks, Des. That seems like great advice…go slowly so you don’t get overwhelmed.

  3. I hear you Des. The conversation can be “deafening” at first with too many people taking part.

  4. Thanks for this Mary Emma!

    It’s interesting reading your thoughts.

I also wrote about Twitter on Business and Blogging. I’ll post my personal Twitter experiences on WritingThoughts and my conclusion about whether Twitter is good for business on Business and Blogging.

  5. Thanks for stopping by, Laura. It will be interesting to see what you have to report about Twitter at your blogs.
