One of my tips...learn to work anywhere, anytime, whenever you can grab a few moments.

People often ask me when is my best time for writing, for sewing, for coordinating my marketing business. Even when I have a best time, I find emergencies often interrupt. So when I can't stick to my schedule, I squeeze in my work at odd places and times.

For instance...recently, when my daughter was in a hospital emergency room, and I'd been pulled away from the computer and a column deadline, I jotted down the rough draft on a paper towel while I waited for reports from the doctors.

Hi Jenny,
Thanks for visiting Home Biz Notes. I heard a speaker once tell about his mom's child raising secrets. She sent the kids out the yard and they weren't to come in the house because Mom needed some time to herself. If they came in, they were sent to scrubbing floors. I would imagine on rainy days she might send them to the attic!

I'm surprised. I didn't see "Put the kids in the attic for an instant productivity boost!" on the list.

Maybe you all don't have as much asbestos in your attics for the kids to bounce and play in.

Yes, I'm a horrible person LOL
