Would You Like Internet Access With Your Haircut? Lateral Thinking At Its Best

Here’s a fun post from Growing Happiness – Wouldn’t It Be Great If Your Haircut Comes With The Internet?

It’s a good example of lateral thinking and productivity with a touch of fun. And, it’s not such a wacky idea at all.

I would quite like internet access with my haircut. How about internet in the doctor’s waiting room? It sure would beat all those boring magazines that are ten years out of date.

  • Do you have a lateral thinking story which worked for you in your home business? We’d love to hear it.

  1. As wireless access becomes more accessible in more areas, it’s a good bet we will be seeing it in all these various places. It certainly would be nice to have it in waiting rooms.

I have found wireless access in many areas of the hospital where my daughter has spent much of the past three months. Simply take your laptop along and find a nook that “catches the wireless waves.” This hospital also has a library with many computers that we can use while waiting or visiting.

I was SO pleased to read this article as I feel there are others out there like me. I was delighted to find free wireless access in a hair salon a few weeks ago. I did not stop similing – and working – the whole way through the cut! They now have me as a customer for life!

  3. Thanks, Emma, for stopping by Home Biz Notes. Isn’t it amazing where we’re beginning to find wireless now? I haven’t come across it yet in our small town, but must check with a friend who is a hair stylist in a larger city. If they don’t have wireless at her salon, I’ll mention that they should think about it!
