That most can understand. I further explain that some blogs are more like journals where writers jot down their thoughts and feelings. Others may be a place where you can make money from advertisers. Since I'll be teaching a class for beginning bloggers on June 4, I'm trying to find ways to describe a blog in terms they will relate to.
