Taking a Day Off from Business

Sometimes we have to take a day off from business, although a writer
often finds it difficult to stay away from the computer and jotting down her thoughts. Yesterday was my granddaughter’s graduation from high school, so we mainly enjoyed the occasion with family who came from far and near to celebrate with us.
Since she was valedictorian of her class, she, of course, gave a speech. I’d not heard nor seen it before, so had no inkling this young lady could write with knowledge, inspiration and humor. Her presentation was unflawed as well.

In today’s changing economy, with graduates looking for jobs, I’ve found a number of them considering home businesses. They are venturing into the “real world” of earning a living. It’s a time for new beginnings.
While giving thought to developing a home business, you probably will be working as an employee for someone else at this stage, unless you’ve already been establishing yourself in a work from home career. However, in today’s Internet world, many graduates have been looking already into ways to earn income online, possibly to supplement while they were in school.
