For those who enjoy cooking, there are many ways you can turn this into a home business, something you can work at from your home. If you are doing actual cooking to provide food for others, you’ll need to research the regulations for your state and community. Also, check out zoning laws to see if this business is possible from your home.

Doing party planning for others

When you’re depending solely on the Internet to operate your business, what do you do when you have problems, can’t access it, or can’t fill your customers’ requests? Are there solutions?
*Use the phone…Make sure your regular customers have a phone number they can call you. Try to get their phone numbers when they contact you or order so you can respond.

Productivity in one’s home business, the April theme at Home Biz Notes, seems to be a topic on other blogs as well. I found a very useful tip at Slacker Manager by guest blogger, Sandy Renshaw, Know When You’re In The Red.
It’s one of those simple measures that makes one wonder, “Why didn’t I think of that?” I didn’t, so I will take Sandy’s advice and see about categorizing my files for easy reference. Her tip, I think, can be adapted for other types of file categories.
