Shannon says,
When you work at home, you aren’t serious about business. Egads! I hate this one, and is why I avoid saying I am a work from home mom.
I’m not serious? I have two virtual employees who expect a paycheck every month (and that’s besides my own paycheck). And on top of that, I don’t get holidays, or sick days, or even mental health days!
If I wasn’t serious about my business, don’t you think I’d go back to work for someone else?

The reason that many people jump to conclusions in regard of working at home and not being serious is because they associate it with a pregnant mom sitting at home and deciding to try to make some extra cash … what can a pregnant mom do they think … but they forget that this pregnant mom may be a professional in something … ;)
