Obama “Change” Poll at Home Biz Notes
With all the “changes” President Obama is instituting in our ecomomy and our lives, I was wondering how you think they will affect home business owners. So I’ve set up a poll to get your opinion.

This administration is currently doing all it can to find ways to generate revenues to keep up with the trillions it’s spending on social programs and the like.
Unfortunately, I think it is only a matter of time before this push to refill the nation’s coffers affects the artistic community in some profound, and less than positive way.
Regardless of how this all plays out, however, I refuse to let our president’s political agenda stifle my creativity or negatively impact the way I produce or market my artwork.
Surely I am not the only artist who feels this way, and I look forward to hearing others comments on the subject you’ve raised via this poll.

Thank you, Normi, for stopping by and sharing your opinion about the effect of Obama’s “change” on home businesses, especially in the art world. It does seem that funds for artistic endeavors may be curtailed as Obama’s administration generates revenues for it’s spending and stimulus programs in other areas.
However, as you say, don’t let the President’s political agenda curtail your creativity. Perhaps you can find ways to promote your art, whether you’re pro or con, that will make a statement and make sales. Use creativity in marketing as well.
