Looking & Acting Professional in Your Home Business

Since you need an “edge” in your home business to compete with others in the same field and to convince clients they need your service or products, make sure you’re one notch above your competition. This includes how you look and act.
Think “professional” at all times.
Granted, if you’re not meeting anyone, perhaps you can work awhile in your jammies or your sloppy clothes. However, even when making phone calls and projecting yourself as a professional, you’ll come across better if you’re dressed as though going to the office.

Am I Too Picky About Business Dress?

As I sat in the airport watching passengers deplane or hurry along the concourse toward their gates, I wondered at the state of dress these days. Even people who obviously were carrying business briefcases or computer bags seemed to delight in baggy sweatshirts and jeans with holes.
Yes, there were a number in business dress, either professional or dressy casual. However, so many seemed dressed in drab colors and tattered clothes.
