What Do You Want For Christmas?
Which books (or other items) do you want for Christmas? Do you ever treat yourself?
A book I’m reading now, Lincoln on Leadership, by Donald T. Phillips is a good one. “Executive Strategies for Tough Times” is listed as the sub-title. Here we’re introduced to many of the principles President Abraham Lincoln used as he led the country during the American Civil War. These are not only principles to use as a leader of a country or business. They apply to our relationships with others and to our role in a family. Many good “life principles.”
Thanks for your suggestion, Mary Emma. It’s interesting that a lot of business principles are life principles and vice versa.
