In a previous Thursday Thirteen post, 13 Types of Home Businesses to Consider, I realized I’d named mainly off line businesses or those that combined online with a shop or office in the home.
Today, I’ll suggest thirteen that are predominately online ventures.
These are suggestions and ideas others find successful. You might use one of these as a springboard and adapt it to your talents and facilities.
1. Freelance writing (many different types to pursue here)
2. Operating an online store with any number of diverse products
3. Selling used books affiliated with Amazon or other bookstore outlets
4. Writing, publishing and selling e-books
5. Providing consulting in various fields
6. Coordinating virtual tours for authors and speakers
7. Teaching online classes
8. Web design
9. Blogging for networks and businesses
10. Selling through sites such as eBay
11. Medical transcription
12. Billing for businesses
13. Travel organizer/planner
What do you do as an online business? Perhaps it’s an offshoot of one of these listed above or something completely different. Let us hear about it and perhaps we can mention it here at Home Biz Notes.

Great list of ideas. I would just remind people that things do not happen over night and they should be ready for any business they go into to take time to develop.
How true, John. Good advice. They also need to develop a business plan and focus on achieving it instead of simply working at their home business haphazardly. Thanks for stopping by and giving your input.
I run my network marketing business with a gourmet candle company online. I love working online. What a great list.
